Creative Cartoonist

Sinopse

Dick Gautier, the author of *The Art of Caricature*, has taken the human face and figure and broken them down into over 300 easy-to-follow instructions. All the fundamentals are here-materials, basic techniques, and a host of crazy characters to copy. Arms, legs, ears, eyes, noses; sports figures, monsters and animals, slouchers and screamers, vamps, and fuddy-duddies are just some of the exercises Gautier provides. Simple series of drawings are accompanied by clear, step-by-step instructions that teach you hand-eye coordination and confidence in the medium. Cartooning can be a hobby, a profession, or even a political weapon. If you are a compulsive doodler, The Creative Cartoonist expertly opens the entire field to the enthusiastic amateur.
